SARASOTA, Fla. (May 13, 2021) – TeKswamp LLC, a Sarasota-based company that sells refurbished electronics, signed a 10,000-square-foot industrial lease at 237 Interstate Blvd. in Sarasota.
Nick DeVito II, SIOR, and Brie Tulp, RPA, of Ian Black Real Estate facilitated the transaction. The landlord is Clara M. Gingerich, Trustee of the Clara M. Gingerich Revocable Trust.
TeKswamp sells used and refurbished electronics on eBay, Amazon and NewEgg. The expanding business currently has three nearby warehouses totaling 10,400 square feet. They will be moving out of an existing warehouse to increase their company footprint by 3,600 square feet at the larger property on Interstate Boulevard. The new location will provide space for TeKswamp’s electronic reconditioning, sales, storage and distribution operations, as well as its corporate office.
“This warehouse was a nice fit for the tenant because it’s not far from their existing locations, and it allows them to consolidate and expand in a larger contiguous space to accommodate their business growth,” said Brie Tulp, RPA, sales associate at Ian Black Real Estate.
TeKswamp expects to move into the new space in early July.
