Lynda Jencks  joined Ian Black Real Estate in August 2014 as Director of Financial Services handling the accounting for the firm and commercial properties managed by the Commercial Property Management division.  Lynda spent over thirty years as a Certified Paralegal specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactional, contract and corporate law, while running her own accounting practice in her spare time.  In 2010, Lynda left the legal field to focus on her ac-counting practice and is an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks by Intuit and passed the Registered Tax Preparer Exam with the IRS.  

She has taught Contract Law for State College of Florida’s CLA exam review course and has taught classes on QuickBooks for Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota as well as private classes. Lynda graduated from Stone School of Business in New Haven, Connecticut, took Financial and Managerial Accounting at State College of Florida and is a Florida Notary Public. She moved from Connecticut to Sarasota in 1996, has two children and two grandchildren and loves to spend time with her family and travel.
