Craig Meeker joined the Ian Black Real Estate Team in October 2014 as Facilities Manager for Ian Black Real Estate.  Craig is responsible for the ongoing operations of the entire IBRE management portfolio,  maintaining the Building Access System and all building equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems. Craig assists with implementing cost savings initiatives for lighting, repair & maintenance supplies, vendor  contract work and performs the majority of tenant and building repairs and maintenance to lower costs.  Bringing over 18 years experience in the Facilities Maintenance field, Craig holds HVAC certification from Manatee  Technical College and worked in that field for 8 years before taking a position as Maintenance Director for a 140-bed  healthcare facility in Bradenton, which he held for 10 years.

Prior to joining IBRE, as Building Engineer, Craig was responsible for the ongoing operations of residential high rise buildings on Longboat Key and in Downtown Sarasota including and brings a wealth of hands-on experience. Originally from Wallingford, Connecticut, Craig has lived in the area for 25+ years and resides on Anna Maria Island. He enjoys fishing, bike riding, and spending time on the beach. Past and Current Clients Served Summerfield Retirement Home:  Maintenance for a 140 unit retirement community in Bradenton. Beth Callens Management:  Portfolio of 40+ high end condo properties in Sarasota including Alinari at Rosemary Place - a high end residential condominium, and 1350 Main St - a residential and commercial condominium building.  Promoted to Property Inspector, Craig oversaw building engineers for the high-end residential communities including Grand Bay, The Players Club on Longboat Key, Inn on the Beach and over 40 others.
