Alison Blair joined Ian Black Real Estate as a Senior Property Manager in May 2021. 

 

Alison represents the prestigious Northern Trust Plaza, a Class-A office building located in the heart of downtown Sarasota and assists the IBRE property management team with both property management and facilities management projects.

 

Prior to joining IBRE, Alison served as Vice President of a mid-sized commercial development company where she managed a portfolio encompassing Class-A office, industrial and retail properties.  As broker of record for the firm, she also conducted the leasing and sales for the company.

Alison studied Business Administration with a concentration in real estate at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida.   After college she worked for a large development company in downtown Tampa as Assistant Project Manager acquiring entitlement rights for a 900-acre development consisting of 10,000,000 square feet of office and industrial space.   Alison served as Facilities Manager for General Electric/Florida and went on to manage facilities for a non- profit mental health care portfolio.  She has earned both her Florida Real Estate Broker and Community Association Manager licenses.  A seasoned professional, Alison has also worked as a Court Appointed Receiver, acquired public parkland for a municipality that included obtaining funding from the Trust for Public Lands and has participated in several eminent domain takings by representing the property owner’s interest. 

 

When not at work, Alison enjoys spending time with her family and boating on beautiful Sarasota Bay.
