Sarasota’s premier commercial real estate agency, Ian Black Real Estate, has hired Elena Herrera as its marketing assistant. Herrera plans and executes a variety of marketing strategies, including designing and creating flyers, updating property lists, adjusting property photos, and performing general management tasks.
“Elena’s impressive marketing and social media background has made her an ideal candidate to join a growing marketing team,” said Marci Marsh, a partner at Ian Black Real Estate. “I’m happy to welcome her. I believe her experience will help her to increase her presence on social media.”
Prior to joining Ian Black Real Estate, Herrera was Digital Coordinator at rbb Communications in Miami, implementing marketing and promotional tactics to increase the total number of one client’s social media followers by 45%. Prior to that, he was an account executive at the BOLD agency in Miami, overseeing accounts, conducting research and providing strategic recommendations to clients.
Herrera holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida International University and a minor in communications.
“Ian Black Real Estate provided me with an opportunity to share my marketing background and at the same time satisfy my interest in real estate,” said Herrera. “I am studying to obtain a Florida real estate license, so I am grateful for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work with an excellent team of experienced professionals.”
Jordan Gorrell, who joined the company as a marketing assistant earlier this year, has been promoted to marketing director. She oversees the marketing department while promoting the company and its property list through various marketing outlets.
